This skater originally committed to “just one” practice, but was immediately hooked, and the rest of the roller derby world is better for it! She is often identified as one of the unsung heroes of modern roller derby, and that is true of her efforts on and off the track. As well as leading her team on the track, she is responsible for fiveonfive magazine, and has designed the look of the WFTDA as its Creative Director. Like so many roller derby leagues, this league has worked through venue and practice space issues, and have finally secured their own space where they train nearly seven days a week and offer classes open to all Australian skaters. Most recently, their All Stars made a trip to the Dust Devil tournament, and showed the derby world how they stack up against other WFTDA teams.
